A pair of very good condition Clayton Audio M-100 monos. I purchased this pair from former Sterophile writer John Marks a couple of years ago, which he had purchased new as M-70 monos from Wilson Shen through factory upgrade to the M-100 spec of 100 Watts Pure Class-A @ 8 ohms. Includes all original owners manuals for the M-70 & M-100, upgrade warranty information, product literature and several reviews. I sent these amps back to Wilson in February for a hum in one of the amps, he ended up replacing the PC board and ran through both amps for further testing. These amps sound fantastic in low bias mode for regular listening. High bias is exceptional for critical listening where everything blooms just a touch more. Bias can be switched on the fly, while preamp is muted. Excellent bottom end, paired very well with my Shunyata power cables and will drive anything. I have decided to continue my relationship with VTLs once again and do not have the space to accommodate this wonderful Class-As. Rated 7/10 for mostly age.
