Basis 2500 Turntable with Graham Phantom II Arm

We are rating this table 7/10 based primarily on age and the fact that
we like to be conservative. Most Audiogon sellers would easily list it
as an 8/10 and some would call it 9/10.

We just took this table in on trade from a client who made a major upgrade to his vinyl front-end. The 2500 has been a mainstay in the Basis line for years and provides overall performance close to that of the Debut but with a smaller footprint.

This particular 2500 was factory-drilled for the standard Graham mount and as such it will accommodate any Graham arm with a 9" armwand.

The table is being sold as-shown in the photos and includes the following:

Signature Update Available
This table does not have the "Signature" main bearing, but that is a simple and cost-effective upgrade should the buyer wish to bring this table to 100% current status. The cost of the upgrade is $660 over the cost of the table.

Condition

This turntable has been lovingly cared-for by its owner and is in outstanding condition. While there are some slight swirl marks in the acrylic there are no gouges chips or other major cosmetic flaws. There are some scratches on the silver posts of the suspension pods that protrude through the plinth. These are minor and can be rotated so that they aren't visible from the front.

We've tested this table and arm and haven't found any mechanical or operational issues. The bearing is just as smooth as it was the first time it was spun!

The table and arm will ship in their original packaging along with all setup tools and accessories. The calibrator base was added after the original purchase and the owner wasn't able to locate its box. Fear not as we will pack and double-box the calibrator to ensure that there is no shipping damage.

We ship via FedEx and UPS for deliveries within the United States. Please let us know if you have a preference. For international shipments we prefer to ship via FedEx. Large and heavy items are shipped via truck or air freight.

Items delivered within the State of Arizona are subject to 8.6% sales tax.

Local customers picking up items in-store are free to pay via cash, PayPal, cashier’s check, bank wire or any major credit card.

For items under $7500 that are shipped within the United States we accept payment via PayPal or bank wire. Transactions completed via PayPal must ship to your confirmed address.

For items over $7500 and all items (regardless of price) shipped to an international address we require payment via bank wire.
