Omega Speaker Systems Super 8 Traditional Monitor RS8 similar to Junior 8 XRS

This model uses the newest Omega driver the RS8.  The cabinet volume(20X12X14) is similar to the Junior 8 XRS and uses identical drivers. Comes in Level 2 Walnut Finished.  No scratches or scuff marks I can see. 

This speaker uses the newest Omega Driver, the RS8. It is incredibly transparent due to its speed with an amazingly natural and real portrayal of the human voice.   Instrument timbre sounds alarmingly accurate. I initially worried the lack of tweeters will be noticeable but the highs are clear and very present.  Low notes are quick, tuneful with good impact, not subwoofer impact but more than adequte.  It only goes down to 38 hz so a sub support may be preferred by some. 

It has no crossover. The lack of crossover components also means there is nothing between the amp and the driver, transparency is increased. 

This speaker is rated at 98 db/watt. It pairs extremely well with my Decware SET tube amp. If your amp has a high noise floor you will hear it due to its high sensitivity so beware. The speakers uses the latest driver from Omega, the RS8.  

If you are in the market for an the older RS5 base Omega speakers or an newest Junior 8 XRS. You should definately consider this one. Omega 10 year warranty is also transferable. It has 9 years of warranty left.   It will be shipped in its original box. local pickup welcome.
