To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the long successful "X20" line, CH Acoustic introduced the series in a limited Orange and Blue edition with some special tweaks. This was in homage to the place where the cables were first conceived and designed, by a group of audiophiles/elite scientists at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The University of Illinois is consistently one of the top 5 engineering environments in the world and benefits from resources well beyond even the most notable audiophile companies. Indeed, your solid state stereo equipment and CD/SACD player would not even exist without the direct influence of scientists from the University of Illinois!! CH Acoustic simply continues this tradition.

The X20 is based on an award winning design that was directly influenced by some of the world's most respected scientists. The design goal was to maximize signal fidelity. The result demonstrates zero magnetic hysteresis, a perfectly and tightly focused signal that is centered in the conductor, and a near undetectable radiated electromagnetic field. (Even at well over 2,000 watts of continuous power delivery.) All of these things combine to deliver a musical signal so free of distortion that it sounds and feels like the original live event. It achieves a level of fidelity that objectively performs well beyond it's price point.
All cable brands engage in fun hyperbole. And yet all fall short in head to head comparisons with this CH Acoustic X20.

The pair has been fitted with brand new spades to raise it's condition level to near mint.
If preferred, these cables can be factory retrofitted with a basic black outer covering. (They will retain markings that demonstrate they are the Anniversary Edition.)
