This VAC Phi-200 is from a 1-Owner. It was rotated with several other amps, so its exceptional. This model was the latest update before VAC offered the IQ models. It has the optional metallic silver faceplate, its probably a 9+ both cosmetically and functionally. It can easily drive the toughest loads, choices are 2,4 and 8 ohms. If I didn't have a 2nd VAC amp, this one would not be available! One is powerful enough, while still offering a gorgeous performance that only the best VAC tubed products can offer.
Additionally, I am including the original set of VAC supplied KT-88's and 6sn7's, and another near new set of the latest VAC supplied and tested replacements. These are what VAC uses in their very high end Statement amps. Gold Lion KT-88's and Tung Sol 6sn7's.
The amp has the best Hi-Fi Tuning Supreme fuse installed, plus a Hi-Fi Tuning Gold fuse is included. The original box and power cord are included.
This should be your last amp, it does everything well! Easy to maintain too.

My impression is that the music is allowed to emerge with more believable detail, a better sense of ambience, less hi-fi as that expression may suggest. A small, but noticeable improvement.
