The Herron phono stage is a genuine "Giant killer." It's very rarely available used. Michael Fremer of Stereophile and Analog Planet fame said "It's competitive with anything I have rated Class A." Herron Audiio uses the very best components available for this superbly engineered design. Most important, It's musical and dynamic.
This unit was proffessionaly serviced this past October and had all the caps replaced - see the photo of the receipt.
It comes with a set of plug in resisters to match the load for MC & MM cartridges.
