B&W has long been the Recording Studio's choice for playback monitors. Most high-end studios use the 802 D2, Pixar/ Disney, Apple UK, and Deutsche Gramophone to name a few.

I've owned the 802 D2, it's a great speaker, but is in no way comparable to the 802 D3. The D3 sound quality is superior, and that's across the full range. B&W boasts over 300 changes to the D3, only the tweeter is unchanged. Most believe the biggest improvement in the D3 is the crossover. B&W was always notorious for lousy crossovers.  Not with the D3.  Sound is more musical, vocals and solo instruments are cleaner, clearer. Bass is strong and tight.

This is the best 802 and maybe the best B&W speaker ever made.

Original Owner, purchased new and installed in August 2016. New, but no break-in required.

Finish is Rosenut.  This is the newer Rosenut with the rich black grain.  (Original D3 Rosenut shipments were almost all Red, so beware.)  The cabinets are beautiful. No scratches, no marks, no blemishes.  Flawless condition, as is the sound.  Full Range.

Cartons and all original parts are included. Installation is amazing. Simply roll the D3s to your desired location, and lower the spikes. Spike coasters included.
