MERIDIAN DSP8000.1 SPEAKERS (PAIR)

These speakers are in black and are in perfect functional and excellent physical condition.
There is a small chip (the size of a dime) on the back of one of the speakers as seen in the photos.  These speakers have never been repaired, but, in the past, I've used a piano repair person to come to the house and fix the finish on other piano black lacquer speakers and they have done the repairs to where I can't find where the repair was made.  These services cost between $100 - $500 depending on what city you are in and how far the guy has to travel and how large the repair.  I am discounting the speakers to reflect this blemish.
 
They were properly and carefully used in a smoke-free, pet-free, child-free, curious-adult-who-ask-questions-with-their-hands-free home.    
These speakers can be upgraded to SE (Special Edition) Spec for only $15k-$20k (depending on dealer discount to you).  So essentially you can have a current absolutely perfect condition pair of $85,000 (yes, Eighty-Five Thousand Dollar - and add another $7k for taxes) speakers for $$30,000.00 - $35,000.00 total.    
This pair is a true 8/10 as there are no nicks, scratches, dents, dings, etc. or any marks that I can see on the front or sides.  There is the one chip on the rear bottom of one speaker as shown in the photo.   Possibly if you got out the flashlight and magnifying glass, you probably would find the slightest hairline surface scratches that can be polished out with right piano polish.     
I have the boxes, paperwork and accessories.  I have a Meridian remote that is in  a conservative 7 out of 10 condition.     
They must be shipped freight and attached to a pallet. (they weight about 500 lbs.)  I have bought and sold several pairs of Meridian 8000s over the years, and the shipping cost will be anywhere from $500 to $1,500 depending where you live in the USA. (AK, HI, PR is probably another $500).  I will only ship these with full insurance.  I will NOT ship these internationally.   

LOCAL PICKUP:  If you pick up the speakers in person in Miami, I will deduct $1,000 from the purchase price.
