Handles are for cosmetics only Amp is to heavy to lift with those.
The best sounding amp ever made. Period. Only exception would be if you are driving a strange load like a plasma driver or you need an inaccurate amp to compensate for a poorly designed speaker.
The only amp I have not put against it is the Canadian built Tenor.
Features: Two Farads of capacitance per channel. Bandwidth of DC to 10 MHz. Zero residue Zero phase shift capacitors Carbon Nanotube transmission lines All parts a curve traced and matched to .00002 DC Offset of only .0004 Military grade power and construction.
Company is out of business and design was so brilliant you had to tell him when to eat.
Questions for the seller |
---|
What is the watt output 8,4,2@ ohms? What is the age of the amp? Has it been serviced at all for anything? The wattage ratings are don't have a lot of meaning because of the headroom in the power supply. In an 8 ohm load it is rated at 250/ch but I had a Classe Omicron rated at 1000 watts/ch and this amp driving real speakers sounded over twice as powerful.
It does double at 4 ohms but does not double again at 2. Another part of the design is that amps that are designed to play 2 and 1 ohm loads like Krell don't sound good at 8 ohms.
Because the amp is designed to be no holds bar it is sensitive to ground noise so you have to make sure everything is grounded well. Because of the ultra high Bandwidth if you power it up with out interconnects it will pick up cell service and catch your speakers on fire. LOL
Think of it as a Ferrari sitting at a stop light with the peddle floored waiting for the light to turn green,
It was built in 1999 and had 1 owner. I had it tested. It has never been repaired. |
