Viva Audio Solista 845 Integrated Amp - Naim Rega Linn like PRAT

One of the world's best integrated amps.... the Viva Audio Solista 845 tube integrated amp for sale in stunning red and black finish. 
  
 This is NOT the smaller, less powerful Solista LT or Solistino. The Solista is a 22 watt per channel, self-biasing, single ended, zero negative feedback, pure class A tube integrated amp. It's hand crafted in Italy with real point to point wiring.   
  
The Solista provides the palpable lit from within quality and sense of space that single ended circuits are known for. However, unlike lower powered 45, 2A3 or 300B driven amps, the Solista can drive many real world speaker loads with it's 22 watt per channel output.  

When I first heard this amp I was shocked by it's bass and dynamics  The weight, depth and quality of the bass is truly amazing for any amp, not just a tube amp. Vocals are rendered incredibly realistically, in regard to tone and emotion. The amp excels at separating individual voices from ensembles. The pace, rhythm and timing is truly impressive ( and this is coming from a Naim owner). The amp can rock n' roll with anything out there. One Viva dealer in NYC who was also a Naim dealer said the Solista is better than the Naim 52/Super Cap preamp and 250 power amp combination. I agree with that as I've also owned that Naim combo. The Viva has the PRAT and dynamics of the Naim but also has the burnished midrange glow that only SET tube amps can provide.  
 
This version of the Solista has no remote but it does have an input for a pre-amp allowing the integrated to be used as a stand alone power amp. So if you have a pre-amp with remote control you're set if you want remote volume control. If you want to use the amp as an integrated amp  you could  use a volume control on Roon or other computer playback software to control the volume remotely.

While I can't sing the virtues of this integrated highly enough, I have decided to physically downsize my system, hence the sale. 
 
 The amp uses 4 x 845 standard or 845b tubes (or 2 x 211 and 2 x 845 tubes)  and a pair of 6SN7 and a pair of 6C45pi tubes. Included are 4 x Shuguang standard 845 tubes, 1 pair of Shuguang 211, 1 pair of Electro Harmonix 6SN7and 3 pair of Sovtek 6C45pi  (two pair unused).

The amp is excellent condition with no scratches or marks that I can see. It is a beautiful piece of equipment and functions flawlessly. Rated an 8 for age only and the fact that I'm not the original owner.
  
The amp  weighs 35 kg (77 lbs) and measures 430 mm ( 16.9 inches) wide x 250 mm ( 9.8 inches ) high x 520 mm ( 20.5 inches) deep. Part of the reason why this amp sounds so dynamic and has such stunning bass  is the quality of the output transformers. Unfortunately quality output transformers are not light weight.    

Since the amp is very heavy ( and I have a bad back) and I don't want to risk damaging it in shipping I'm looking for a local Bay Area California sale at this point. I'm located in Mill Valley, CA just outside of San Francisco in Marin County. Local audition and pick up is welcome.  I do have the original box and packaging material. If you want to coordinate and arrange pick up, packaging and shipping & insurance with a shipping company I will consider that option. Please note the amp will need to be packed up and carried up some stairs leading out of my house by the shipping company. Buyer to pay shipping & insurance.
