This is a stand-alone power supply intended to upgrade the sonic performance of any audio component to which it is connected.
The power supply circuits in the majority of audio equipment tend to be
based on the usual transformer, bridge rectifier, storage capacitor,
voltage regulator topology. The electronic components used are generally
of standard quality and provide adequate performance for the majority
of people. Each of these components can be upgraded to ‘audiophile’
quality to gain significant improvement in sonic performance, but no
matter how good the upgrade there will still be the influence of mains
pollution percolating through and spoiling the end result. This is the
reason that ‘Never Connected’ technology was developed. By isolating the
voltage regulation circuits during the conduction cycle of the bridge
rectifier, most if not all of the effects of mains pollution can be
eliminated. The end result is a vast step forward in sound quality.

Supplied in a sturdy aluminium case with custom ‘Trichord NC‘ front and rear panels.

May be internally modified to run on a range of input AC voltages

The box contains a printed circuit board with one toroidal mains
transformer and two ‘Never Connected’ circuits, one positive voltage and
the other a negative voltage. Each of the ‘Never Connected’ circuits is
followed by a High Performance Voltage Regulator circuit (super
regulators if you prefer) to provide a stable, low noise, wide bandwidth
output voltage.

A high-quality DC output cable is provide to connect the power supply to the target unit (uses a standard 6mm dia. connector plug).

Output - 24DC 12 Watt, up to 500mA on 6mm dia. plug
Input - 230AC 50Hz
Comes with an EU International Standard 2-Pin Schuko/IEC power cord.
