(edit). Tested amplifier finally. Ran it through bg radia 420's. There is a power on noise well documented with the older versions of this amplifier. It's a soft thump. The gain knobs have a little oxidation, and is a little noisy when adjusting gains. The sound coming through sounded wonderful. I sonically swept it from 1hz through 200hz on a boston 10" woofer. I then swept 100hz to 18k hz on the radias. I then played a selection of music. This amp takes control of the speakers in a way that I've never experienced before. No brightness, no mud. Just clean and crisp sound.
If this ad expires, I'll keep the amp and list either my carver or Adcom. In the meantime, I lowered the price to 550, and i hope it goes to a good home. If it doesn't sell, I'll probably mark it as a forever amp. Even if I have to store it for the next 10 years.
Purchased but never used in my system. Previously used to power a pair of tower speakers.
