Stack of four Meridian components:
565 Digital Surround Processor; 562V Multimedia Controller; 586 DVD Player; and 504 FM Radio
All User and Installation manuals, as well as remotes for the 565 and 586, are included. Digital Comm cables (to Meridian speakers) are not included.
Full disclosure: Some of these items require refurbishment. That said, I am the original owner and when I bought them (along with DSP 6000, 5500, and 5000C speakers), they were, by far among the best home theater gear on the market. The original system cost almost $44,000 (with speakers), but was worth every penny. They were never abused or subjected to harsh conditions, so it shouldn't cost much to get this gear back in original condition. There is no return policy applicable to this purchase, so please do not buy unless you're prepared to refurbish them (or send them to Meridian for that service).
If you have access to some good Meridian speakers (e.g., the ones listed above, which can be found for VERY reasonable prices these days), this is the cheapest route to having a terrific home theater. Alternatively, you can connect various A/V sources to the 565 Pre-Pro via the 562V Multimedia interfaces, and output to amps powering your favorite non-Meridian speakers.
All four components: $500.

| So,, which units are not working? thanks I haven't used them in half a decade, so I'm trying to set expectations properly. While there might be an issue with the 565, I think it (and the 562V) are OK. The DVD player has an issue with the transport -- the drawer opens and closes, but if memory serves there is an issue with actual playback. I'm pretty sure the 504 is fine, since it's never been used.
In short, I'm really selling the 565 and 562V, and throwing in the 586 and 504 for free (as a hedge for the buyer if there are problems with any of the components).
