Audire Forte

Simple summary: bought the Audire at Audio-Video in California. It was a *demo* and has been garaged ever since (say, early 2000s). It was opened and used for maybe 25+ hours in the last few months. It is basically pristine - no marks or blemishes I can see. It runs modestly warm and it is one heavy component (44 lbs. I believe I read). No manual; have original box with the manufacturer's 'so-so' original packing.

Two caveats (that would apply to any Forte model): 1) the powers switches (two - one for each channel) seem a bit 'loose' but present no problem in use 2) there is a low hum: not audible with even low-level volume music playing. This is a very powerful power amp: at the 11:00 position, it plays quite loud in a very large room (with Gallo floorstanding speakers). It has been covered when not in use.

This is essentially a brand new component, stored for almost all of its life.
