For $650, you won't find a better sounding pair of small speakers for the money.

The bass, clarity and detail from these small (17" t x 7" w x 12" d) bookshelf speakers is outstanding.

Purchased two years ago as demos from an Audiogon Dealer.
If you're looking for an amazing sounding speaker with a surprising bass response and terrific mids and highs, the Dali Ikon 1 mk2 is an excellent choice. Made specifically to be placed on/in a bookshelf to enhance the bass response. And yes, they really do go down to 41kHz!

These are in pristine condition, well taken care of in a smoke free environment. Considering their size, they are well-built, substantial feeling speakers. Plus they look cool too. I purchased them without grills, so these do NOT come with grills. (I always take the grills off my speakers anyway, so this wasn't a problem for me.)
