The Vandersteen Model 3A current sells for $4975 pair.
This is a used pair around 10 years old. The large metal embossed nameplate on the back says in a Logo form Model 3. However, since this is a fancy logo plate, this may be a pair of model 3As, as the serial numbers are 5404A and 5405A. The original owner traded these in for a pair of Golden Ear Triton Reference.
These Vandersteens are listed on Audiogon and eBay for as much as $2500 or more used. I have them low price because my showroom floor has limited space and I need to move them quickly. They have been critically listened to for hours and are perfect.They are near perfect in cosmetics. There are a few edge imperfections on the bottom wood plate. Barely noticeable. They will be carefully packed and double boxed. I have 7 day return you pay the freight, and call for a RA.
The Vandersteen Model 3A currently listed has almost 100% identical specs as this older pair.

wouldn't these speakers be over 20 years old as the signatures were available in 98
Thx Maybe. I don't know the customer who traded them in said they were around 10 years old. They look nearly perfect and sound wonderful. And on eBay and Audition they are going for a lot more. |
