Near Mint condition but I'm rating it 8/10 be conservative. I cannot find a visible mark worth mentioning on this. It looks and sounds perfect. The remote is also in excellent shape. I had just put four NOS Amperex tubes in it from Andy at Vintage Tube Services when my dream preamp came along, so they're probably not even broken in yet. At most they have 10 hours on them. I don't think you'll find another one of these that looks and sounds as good as this. It's complete with remote, manual, power cord, and box.
This preamp is packed with features that lower-end machines lack, including a programmable home theatre bypass that lets you designate one or more of the inputs (including the tape loop) as zero gain, so you use it with your HT receiver. There's no phono stage on this preamp, of course, so you'll need to supply your own if that's what you're into.
The soft startup sequence extends tube life, and starts with the volume at zero and muted, same as Audio Research. And my absolute feature which demonstrates that there is a god and that she cares about audiophiles is that the top cover is affixed with industrial velcro, making it easy to remove when you want to look at your tubes and make sure they're still the same ones they were when you checked them yesterday.
Certainly this amp is worth $3,200 in this condition with these tubes innit, but I'll take $2,800 firm because I need it OUT of here, plus actual shipping charges, and 3% Paypal fee if you choose to go that route. It will ship in its original carton with all of the original packing material and manuals.
