The Reed 3Q uses a laser to help set up the VTA. Perfect for those changing VTA/SRA for different LPs. This arm was used by me once at a show. It is as new. Has all the good options... 12" cocobolo armwand, silver wire with silver Eichmann Bullets, platinum body plating and adjustable azimuth. Also has on the fly VTA. One of the easiest arms to setup to optimal performance. Once set, it stays set.

| Which cartridge did you find worked best with this particular 3Q? Hi, the Reed is quite forgiving when it comes to carts. I used an UNIVerse, Lyra Atlas, Dynavector XV-1S & T And a bunch of vintage Jap carts. The only carts that won't sound optimal are low compliance carts like the Denon 103 |
| Hi, can this be mounted on a VPI SSM Reference table? Would I need to purchase a separate armboard to accommodate it? Hi,
I can't say the 3Q will fit but from what I can find, the 10.5" 3Q should fit nicely. A different armboard would be needed because the mounting holes are different. |
