This listing is for a (1.5M) pair of TARA LABS "THE ONE" XLR INTERCONNECTS and includes , at no additional charge, an optional ($600) TARA LABS PATENTED ISOLATED SHIELD MATRIX FLOATING GROUND STATION. TARA LABS has been a longtime leader in the audio world producing the finest cables in addition to their innovative grounding techniques. "THE ONE" IC overall produces reference level musicality  and neutrality etc. etc. Add to that the FLOATING GROUND STATION extending performance even further. The Ground Station operates outside the signal path  with a goal of eliminating EMI/RF (Electromagnetic Interference and Radio Frequency Interference). EMI/RF can be quite noticeable or less noticeable but all the same can still be impacting an audio systems' performance. Depending on various factors the Ground Station will lower the noise floor even further resulting in higher frequency extension, increased details, tighter bass, enhanced mid-range etc. etc. Add to all of this incredible construction plus ongoing Tara Labs customer support and "THE ONE" IS "THE ONE!"

For those unfamiliar with the brand, Tara Labs has been making some very interesting cables with patented technology like the HFX FLOATING GROUND STATION. "How do you describe something that has little or no sound of its own? This is the dilemma, when auditioning products as neutral and transparent as Tara Labs' THE ONE balanced interconnects (TOBI). TOBI sounds fine right out of the box, and after a two week burn-in period, simply disappears. However, if you do not use an Analog Floating Ground Station, the sound will noticeably deteriorate. The soundstage shrinks, and grain sets in.

If you want to hear what your balanced components sound like, then you absolutely must check out TOBI. If you want your cable to be a tone control, then pick something else.

Yes, I admit that TOBI, especially when you add a Floating Ground Station, is expensive. But I've heard many more expensive cables and can tell you that TOBI is simply more honest. And TOBI is much more open, airy extended, dynamic, fleshed out and detailed than Tara Labs lower-priced cables.

TOBI is among the best out there at any price. TOBI is a true five-star product. I'm lowering the ratings of all other cables by at least one and a half stars. Save your money, angst, and whining, and buy TARA LABS TOBI."
