This ad is for an AVID Pellar MM/MC Phono preamp in Excellent condition. This is a great sounding phono preamp with a neutral tonal balance, very good dynamics and excellent resolution. Designed with elements distilled from AVID's reference phono preamps, Pellar delivers more than a taste of high-end performance in a compact and elegant package. Includes original box and packaging, stock power cord, pair of RCA loading plugs and the one-sheet manual.

Pellar is highly flexible; out of the box it provides a solid 40dB of gain for Moving Magnet cartridges, more than enough for any MM, Moving Iron or High Output Moving Coil cartridge with output as low as 1.0mV. For MC users there's selectable gain of either 60dB or 70dB ideal for virtually all Moving Coil cartridges! The Pellar comes standard with 500Ω loading, but other loading options are available. Regardless of cartridge preference, this is a great phono preamp, delivering a massive soundstage, a smooth tonal balance and outstanding dynamic range.
