WADAX SA PRE 1 MK 2 ULTIMATE External PS

This model Ultimate w/ phono was an interim product between their PRE 1 MK 2 and the current Trio Ultimate ($68000.00 w/ phono and Zepto clock). The power supply chassis shares its appearance with Trio components. The PRE designation is quite misleading as in addition to the excellent linestage (which can be defeated if you have a super unit already), it is a phono section as well as a state of the art 24/96 DAC. Anyone interested should read Roy Gregory's informative reviews on the original PRE 1 MK 2. The DAC even with its limit to 2496 sounds more immersive and engaging than my modded Auralic Vega playing DSD128!!! Just think of the savings in high end interconnects, power cords and footing. I'm stepping up and going for the Trio. This had a new phono section installed late last year (thank you Wadax).
