Excellent Condition B&W CM5 S2 - Beautiful Rosenut Wood Finish

Due to some confusion I need to update my policy regarding "offers" on these speakers.
Originally I was asking $1000.00 and may have been open to reasonable offers then. As it is I've come down $125.00 in my asking price I am going to stick to that sale price. Also, it seems that Audiogon adds their "Make An Offer " link to the ad. I did not add that. I'm sorry for any confusion.
These are the same speakers as the B&W CM6 S2. The CM5 S2 does not have the Decoupled Double Dome aluminum tweeter mounted on top of the cabinet. It’s the same tweeter otherwise and I feel these look better. Same mid/bass driver & crossover.
Someone asked me to put up a close up of the driver on the speaker with the pin mark. He thought the driver was damaged, as you can see from the last photo it is not.

I've used these with a 150 watt Solid State and a 30 watt Triod Tube amp in a 17x25x8 room and they worked really well. Filled the room with great sounding music. Very clear, great bass, deep sound stage
Other than 1 small pen point mark on front of one speaker (which is covered by grills) speakers are in excellent condition! (See last photo)
The pen point mark can not be seen from more than 6 feet away!
Grills are perfect, no snags, no tears, no broken pegs. Look Perfect!
If not for the very small and hardly noticeable mark I would rate these as a 10

| Hello, my friend. I'm interested in your B&W CM5 speakers, so I hope you don't mind if I ask a few questions. How old are they? Is there any kind of damage (besides the little spot you mentioned)? Like maybe something internal, or not visible, or anything like that? Have you used them with the foam plugs in the ports, and if so, what sort of effect do they have? Are you selling the speakers now cuz they don't please you anymore? Is it because of the way they sound, maybe got tired of them, or what?

Phillip Hello, No damage other than the small mark mentioned. No internal issues. They sound really great, I have used them with both tube & SS equipment. I want to buy a pair of floor speakers, thus the sale. I would have no problem keeping them otherwise. I have tried the foam plugs but for the most part I've never needed them. These speakers do not get "boomy." The room I have these in is 15x27 and they fill the room well. They do want to be away from the rear wall for best sound stage.
