Dave Merrill Zigmahornet Speakers

I agree with the praise. They are absolutely transparent and revealing of upstream gear. Will pair well with a good analog front end, or digital that leans organic. A very pure flea-watt amp (Decware or Bottlehead tubed) or good class A SS would be ideal. 5w is plenty in a reasonable room. They remind me of good headphone sound via speakers. Oh, the Merrill DCA4 drivers are still available at diyparadise.com. Cabinet dimensions are 60"  X  4 3/4"  X  4".
If you check out the 6 Moons review, these are the same, but much nicer cabinetry. They are very protectively packed in a custom made box and ready to go. I'm meticulous about protective packaging; check my feedback comments. $520 for the pair. The cost of the box and shipping to a buyer in the 48 contiguous U.S. States is $115 for the pair, so $635 complete. I pay my PayPal fee. Amazingly musical pair of speakers for the $ investment.
