For sale is a brand new Cinemag CM-1254 based Step-Up Transformer for low-output MC cartridges in a custom travel case. This is the same Cinemag SUT used in the giant killing Bob's Devices model 1131 that retails for $1,195, but Bob's has his labeled 1131 exclusively for him while these are the actual model number. Purchased directly from David Geren at Cinemag. All hand point-to-point wiring. HI/LOW gain settings between 40:1 and 20:1.  I prefer the 20:1 for my Denon 103R and it allows you to run into any MM phono stage.  Super smooth, no noise, full linear sound.  I love it.  Three-position ground switch: Floating, Left only and Left/Right.  Only selling because I just ordered a Tavish Design Adagio tube phono preamp and am sending Jeff at Tavish Design a new pair of CM-1254's from Cinemag to be installed internally replacing the stock Jensen's that he uses. So I will eliminate a pair of RCA cables and an extra ground wire.

Price includes Paypal fee and USPS Priority Mail insured shipping to anywhere in the Continental US.

Questions for the seller
Hi, Would this SUT be a good match for my Denon DLS1, which has an output of .15 and is 40 ohms? Thanks
With the 40:1 high setting, you have about as much gain as you will find from an SUT. Since my 103R is .29 the 20:1 works perfectly. My current phono pre is an iPhono2 and there is 36db and 48db gain options on the MM input. I have it set to 36db and it works perfectly. What are the gain setting(s) for your phono pre?
