Using the Stereophile Test Disc Volume 2, I found the bass was solid down to 40hz and usable to 31.5hz.

Shipping by freight will be about $450. The total weight of the crate and speakers is just about 500 lbs. The speakers themselves weigh 125 lbs. each.

Questions for the seller
Hi, Are these similar to the La Scala's in sound and room placement? Years ago I had Cornwalls and now looking to get back into serious listening - mostly classical and jazz. Do these require a corner wall placement like the Klipschorns, which I'm also looking at along with the La Scala's. When were your speakers manufactured? Thanks, -Phil Malone
These are very similar to LaSalas. They do NOT require corner placement, but seem to work best close to the back wall. These are 1973. They have been veneered with rosewood. Each surface has a single sheet of rosewood veneer and no seams.
