AudioControl Maestro M8 4k Ultra HD Home Theater Preamp Processor (Arcam AVP950)

We bought this fabulous processor to use in our new (retirement) home, only to find that it (and the amplifier) are a little too sophisticated for us now. We installed it for a couple of weeks over the Holidays - the picture was taken then. Tried it out for a few movies, and it really is wonderful . . . used with a JBL (Lexicon) Performance Amplifier, sounded amazing (the amplifier is sold). I'm not sure if you can tell from the pictures how "cool" this things looks . . . (and sorry about the photos . . . its packed-up and ready to ship) . . . the online shots on the AudioControl and in the reviews are very accurate. If we hadn't used it for a few days, I would rate it Mint.

When we bought it, it was a dealer demo that was being replaced with the M9 . . . the front display was scratched, so they sent it back to the manufacturer where the display was replaced.. We paid less than the Original List of $8,900, but a lot more than we're asking for it now. Its manufactured in the USA, and is a close cousin of the Arcam AVP950.

Couple of  things . . . .
1) They lost the original remote and sent me one for the M9 - it doesn't control all of the functions, but will be included if you want it. Set-up can be done from the front display, and I was able to get the Harmony Elite to control everything . . . if you really wanted the original remote, its available from the manufacturer for $135 plus shipping.

2) Not sure if the the cord they provided was original . . . I'm including that, and if you want it, I will include an 18" custom cord that is much nicer. 
3) After packaging it up, I sent it to the manufacturer to have it checked-out and to update the firmware. Checked-out fine and everything is up to date.
