The SR5004 from Marantz
is an audio and video receiver with a built-in 90 watt amplifier and
7.1 surround sound. It enables you to connect up to 10 speakers (in
different rooms if you desire) and route all of your audio and video
sources to the speakers. The SR5004 includes a feature called Dynamic
Volume, which balances the sound levels, so you won't have to turn down
the volume when an annoyingly loud commercial comes on.

Setting up the SR5004 is made easier with its built-in graphic user
interface. Connect a TV or display to its HDMI output, and the SR5004
will fill the screen with an easy to understand color interface for
adjusting your system. The SR5004 will also transcode analog video
inputs and scale them to 1080p out of its HDMI output. This means that
you can plug your analog video devices into the SR5004, and view them
all through a single HDMI output connected to your digital TV.

A full AM/FM tuner is included, as well as connections for both SIRIUS
and XM satellite radio tuners. It can decode HDCDs, as well as decode
Direct Stream Digital (DSD) formats. When it's time to watch a movie,
the SR5004 can supply you with 7.1 surround sound, with the ability to
power 9 passive speakers. A dedicated preamp subwoofer output is
supplied as well. For the best fidelity possible, the audio components
operate on a separate circuit board than the video elements and the
power supply. Marantz has been delivering excellent sounding products
for over 55 years, and the SR5004 proudly upholds this tradition.
