Audio Research D125 110wpc classic stereo silver face hybrid tube/FET stereo power amplifier. Features include: Servo for auto balance of plate currents between output
tube push & pull pairs; Front panel LED indicators and adjustment controls
for left and right channel output tube bias; Low current LED indicator
for each output tube viewable through cover; "Tube Saver" circuit to protect
output tubes from abnormal conditions or input overloads (eg. DC).
Offered from the original smoke-free owner of this amp, purchased new from Audio Perfection in Richfield MN. The power supply was professionally recapped and put back into service about three years ago after ~ 15 years of storage. This was done only as a precaution to ensure zero issues with startup due to age. The currently installed tubes are ARC branded 6550 purchased directly from ARC that date to the last tube change in 1996. Please contact me for additional tube options.
