I'm the original owner of these Spendor SP2/3R2 Classic Stereo Speakers purchased in October of 2016.
On one of the speakers, the knobs that hold the grill in place have broken off. The grills were only removed a couple of times, and I was very careful. Evidently the knobs were defective. I easily and seamlessly fixed the problem with velcro strips, but I removed the velcro for the photos.
Aside from this one flaw with the grill, they are in immaculate condition.
The speakers were used in rotation with other speakers so they spent considerable time stored in a closet when not in use.
