This TANDBERG TR2080 stereo receiver from the early 1980’s is in EXCELLENT condition. It operates FLAWLESSLY and sounds TERRIFIC! Outside it’s almost LIKE NEW. ALL display lights and LED's work, too.

I have tested this unit and found its operation flawless with Phono, CD’s, & FM sources.

This unit will include a service manual, 75 ohm FM antenna adapter and its AC power cord.

The Scandinavian design of the TR2080 and its logical layout are enhanced by it's classy lighting. It was built in Norway from 1978 up in to the early 80's and puts out 125 watts per channel into 4 ohms. The faceplate is aluminum and has a wood cabinet in REAL natural wood grain.

Features:

3. Two Phono sections – 1 for moving magnet and 1 for moving coil

4. Separate right & left channel Tone Controls for bass, treble & middle frequencies

5. Preamp out/Amp in enabling the receiver to be used as a tuner, tuner/preamp or in bi-amp configuration

6. Three Switched & Unswitched AC Outputs

7. Fine FM Tuning Meters which double as Amp power meter when FM not in use

8. Can drive three pairs of speakers switchable from faceplate

9. A complement of loudness boost, low and high frequency filters

This unit was made for the U.S. and operates with 120 volts.

This receiver is very heavy, fairly large and quite fragile so I don’t want to ship it. If you have to have it shipped, There will be a $100 charge in addition to the cost of shipping.
