Vandersteen 3A Signature Speakers

Up for sale is a pair of Vandersteen 3A signatures. The Serial Numbers are 9204A and 9205A. When I called Vandersteen directly, the gentleman I spoke to said that puts them at approximately 2002 production year. I am the second owner and purchased them from Brooks Berdan Ltd in 2008. I have diligently looked after the speakers by keeping them clean and conservatively driving them in my small room.
The speakers sound fantastic, and are in excellent condition overall. I believe the wood trim is Oak, but please confirm by reviewing the pictures. The top and bottom wood trim are in excellent condition. The bottom wood trim does show some light marks under a camera flash, but from the listening position these speakers look new. There are a couple minor pulls around edges, and there is a small tear in the grill cloth about 3/16" in diameter. The tear was from the original owner, and has not worsened in the 10 years I've owned them. If so inclined, Vandersteen offers replacement socks for very little money, and includes an installation video on YouTube. I don't think you'll feel the need to replace the socks as none of my previous disclosures are visible from the listening position.
Reason for sale is only due to moving. Owners manual, and all spacers to properly tilt the speakers are included.
