Purchased from a local seller and very experienced builder who has assembled many a kit and is very well done. The original kit was bought directly from Transcendent so no gray market or counterfeit concerns. Upgraded with premium parts. Alps blue velvet volume pot. Grayhill input selector switch. Riken, Amtrans, Kiwame, Audio Note carbon comp and tantalum resistors. Schottky diodes. Solen/SCR film caps, Panasonic electrolytics. Auric wiring. Tubes are factory JJ and only have about 250 hours on them so almost new. About $100-150 in upgrades which really make a significant improvement. This preamp has performed flawlessly, no issues, dead quiet even on my 101db speakers.
