Krell KAS-2

I am offering my two matching KRELL KAS 2 mono amplifiers for sale,  Serial Numbers: 25-00160 and 25-00162. Both amps look in excellent condition and could be rated at 8.5. About 5years ago, both amps had all capacitors replaced, and the 25-00162 had the main circuit board replaced. Both amps are working, but lately, one of them (25-00160) after an extended period of listening switches of (showing the red pilot light). Once the power is disconnected for a long time, the amp will work again for many hours. I am using my Klipschorn Speakers that are very efficient, and don’t know how it would work under heavy loads. I talked with a local authorized KRELL Dealership and the technician told me that the “Soft Circuit” is at fault. I could take the amp in and for $ 80.00 they would diagnose the problem and they would give me an estimate to have it repaired. I am considering to sell both amps as they are, with a deep discount. I do not want to ship these amps, even though I have the original boxes. I am hoping that the buyer would experience these amps in person, I am in the Los Angeles area.
