These are custom designed & made using SB Acoustic's top of the line Satori drivers.

  • Tweeter: Satori TW29BN-B Beryllium with black flange, 4 ohm
  • Woofer: Satori MW19P-4, 7.5" Egyptian Papyrus Cone, 4 ohm
Crossovers were professionally designed & assembled my Madisound using Leap software & premium components; Clariton capacitors, Mundorf resistors.
Boxes design is a mass-loaded, transmission line designed to extend the bass down to 34Hz. 2.5" ports are located in the back. Box internal volume is 1.19ft^3. There is a 5 degree angle on the front baffle for accurate phase alignment of the 2 drivers. Beautiful Walnut veneer is used.  Bases are 2" thick black granite surface plates. Award winning speaker designer, Paul Kittinger, helped me with the design.
  • Box Size: 9x12x42"
  • Frequency responce: 34-20,000Hz.
  • Sensitivity: 89dB
  • Impedance: 4 ohm
Info from SB Acoustic on the Tweeter:
The new Satori Beryllium dome tweeter has arrived!  Beryllium is known
for its open and spatial sound, often described as holographic.  The
self damping properties of Beryllium allow for an extended response
without a huge spike in the response at higher frequencies seen in most
metal dome tweeters.  All dome materials have a different tonal and
spatial presentation.  Beryllium has a real positive difference,
providing a experience unlike all other dome materials.
  • Beryllium dome for non-resonant high frequency extension
  • Two part aluminium faceplate with integrated mechanical decoupling
  • Dual balanced compression chambers for improved dynamics
  • Dual copper caps for absolute minimum voice coil inductance and minimum phase shift
  • High saturation neodymium motor system with T-shaped pole piece for lower distortion
  • Non-reflective cast aluminium chamber with optimized damping for improved dynamics
  • Shallow flow optimized magnet structure for optimum coupling to rear chamber
  • CCAW voice coil for low moving mass
  • Long life silver lead wires
  • Low resonance frequency for extended range

Info from SB Acoustic on the Woofer:

Satori is a Buddhist term for enlightenment.  The word literally
means "understanding".  Satori translates as a flash of awareness.
Satori drivers are designed for subtlety and realism.

  • Egyptian Papyrus Fiber Cone
  • Vented aerodynamic cast aluminum chassis for optimum strength and low compression
  • Proprietary cone material with EGYPTIAN PAPYRUS fibres made in-house
  • Soft low damping rubber surround for optimum transient response
  • Advanced BIMAX spider for improved linearity
  • Powerful optimized low distortion neodymium motor system
  • Non-conducting fibre glass voice coil former for minimum damping
  • Extended copper sleeve on pole piece for low inductance and reduced distortion
  • CCAW voice coil for reduced moving mass
  • Long life silver lead wires attached 180° apart for improved stability
  • Vented pole piece for reduced compression
  • High piston to chassis diameter ratio
  • Gasket and bolt hole protrusions for reduced coupling to speaker cabinet
These are incredible speakers, the best I've ever made or owned.  Bass is deep, clear, & strong even without a sub-woofer.  If you haven't heard beryllium tweeters, you are missing out, they are incredible! I took them to a speaker design/building expo. 2018 Midwest Audio Club and they received a lot of compliments such as "Those are some the best tweeters I've ever heard." Jeff Bagby (speaker designer).

Why am I selling?
I build speakers as a hobby and am always looking forward to my next project.  I can't start my next project until I sell these, the wife says... The price just covers my cost for materials.

I do not want to ship these, local pickup only in the Indianapolis, Indiana area, no trades.
