Up for sale is a very clean Tarantella turntable from Pink Triangle. This well regarded audiophile turntable is ready to go, including a brand new Stanton 671E cartridge and stylus. An Origin Live tone arm is also included, which is made by Rega, I believe. --I was informed by another Audiogon user that this is in fact a Rega tonearm, modified by Origin Live. The turntable is functional and has been tested with a stroboscope which shows that the speed is very slightly fast at 33 1/3, and almost dead on at 45 RPM, with no tone waver detected. The motor at one time was removed and refastened securely, and the leads which connect to the LED strips were disconnected. To reiterate, the LED strips have not been tested, and will need to be soldered to verify functionality. Beyond that, there doesn't appear to be anything else which is notable. It looks to be in really good condition, and I will give it a solid 7 on the 1-10 scale. I do not know a ton about these turntables, but this was acquired in an audiophile estate and I have listened to music on it and stated my observations above. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have about this turntable.
