Own a part of legendary cult status SET mono blocs.  What can I say, these are simply some of the best sounding SET tube amps ever, and I mean ever, made. There is a long story about how I came across these and diligently got them restored and stable. They are simply the culmination of my 25 years of obsession in the Audio insanity addiction. They can use both 211 and 845 tubes, but seem to sound better with the 211, albeit exceptional either way. The amps will be sold with 2 pairs of GE 211 tubes. RCA also available.
A full set of just parts to build a pair of these sold for close to 4K a few years back (came from the estate).

I had a tube guru go through these extensively to bring them to spec and he literally owns an audio museum with some of the finest amplifiers and speakers ever made (golden era stuff) and he felt these were the best amps he ever heard.

The background on the design of the amps are as follows:
These custom amps are designed by Arthur Loesch.
The input tube is a WE 417 (or Amperex 5842), the driver tube can be a 2A3, 10, VT25, 50, 45 or other similar tubes (there is a
switch to change the filament voltage for these two tube families), 845
or 211 output tube (there is a switch to change the bias setting for
each tube), Tango output transformer, Peter Dahl power transformer,
Hammond chokes, polypropylene power supply caps and silver signal path
wire.  All of the high voltage circuit path is constructed with
insulating stand-off shields.  The layout is beautiful.
The flexibility of the amp allows its sound to be tailored to specific
systems.

CREDENTIALS:  Arthur Loesch’s design work includes a phono stage
presently used as Dick Olsher’s reference. The amps are made to the
highest parts quality with old-world workmanship standards.

SOUND:  The 845 is preferred on most speakers and gives a powerful, full
sound with excellent bloom, dynamics and soundstage dimensions.  The 211
gives an even more dynamic sound, but is a bit fussier about speaker
mating.  The amps have received glowing remarks in a blurb from Harvey
Rosenburg in Positive Feedback and in head-to-head comparisons, have
outgunned the CARY 805 amps and some much more expensive SET’s.
