Revel Ultima Salon II Full Range Speakers - REDUCED

Consecutive serial numbers R0778-20069 & R0778-20070. If you are already familiar with or not at all familiar with this speaker system I recommend that you visit the web in order to review the enormous amount of reading material that describes, offers opinions, evaluates and reviews these well known Revel speakers. Any interested individual will learn far more about this speaker system by visiting the numerous web pages that pertain rather than reading anything that I can pass on regarding the same. Robert Harley's review in the January 2008 Absolute Sound Magazine issue is a very thorough article worth reading.  I will say that I consider this pair of speakers to be the absolute best, most worth while purchase decision that I ever made as I built my system over my audiophile years. These speakers according to Harmon Ind. are late 2008 to early 2009 production. I am the second owner having purchased these in 2009. They are unable to give me an exact date of production due to lost data resulting from several IT system evolution's / upgrades. Through out my ownership these have never been exposed to tobacco, small children or pets of any kind. am now well in to my retirement years. Having stated this, my reason for selling these is simply that I no longer spend much time enjoying my system as in years past and thus I am downsizing to a bare minimum. Functionally these speakers sound as great today as when they were initially set up. Cosmetically I consider them to be in excellent (plus) condition. Two very minor dings are present on #20069. I have attempted to photograph these; one at the lower base edge and the other at a small upper contact point where the grill meets the speaker. Pictured please find a spare replacement base that will be included in this sale. I never felt the need or took the time to switch the two bases as the flaw I have mentioned requires one to get on hands and knees to see it. The upper nick can hardly be seen with the grill removed and not at all with the grill affixed to the speaker. The only shipping option will be in the freight category due to size and weight. I have checked off UPS & FedEx as these two carriers are the only options listed for choice on Audiogon. Should someone know of another reputable carrier that should be considered I am certainly willing to listen. As photographed the original serial numbered shipping boxes will be carefully re-packed for shipment. Shipping cost as well as mandatory shipping insurance will be the responsibility of the buyer. Shipment to the USA  (CONUS) only - no international sale. The weight shown is for both cartons; the dimensions pertain to each box. Should PayPal be the chosen method of payment I will split the 2.9% fee as it applies to the total sale price which will include shipping and insurance costs. No payment can occur - nor will it be accepted until both parties agree to the total sale price which will include the cost of shipping and insurance. As noted above, the original boxes are available and will be used for the shipment. Both manuals will also be included. The spare base will be shipped separately in its own well packaged box at my expense. As of now, I can not locate the original spike feet; if found they will be included in the shipment.
