Magnepan's MG-1.7 is exceptional! As per TAS's review: "combination of neutrality, coherence, transient speed, image size, dispersion, dimensionality and bloom, and resolution of texture". And at $1,190, this is a gift that will last years to come. Disclosures: musically they are perfect, grills are great (one was replaced) and alum side rails look good with only a couple of imperceptible scuffs. Their Grey color is both attractive and blends well with furniture. Rated 8/10. Would love questions from committed buyers.
