Audio Research VT-100 mkIII Original MKIII with all packaging.

Audio Research nailed it again with the VT-100MK111-a sweet and musical Tube Amp.
Comments on the character of the VT-100MKIII include: "Tube Resolution and dynamics are startlingly better: suddenly you can pick out each individual voice in a choir, you can hear the air gently modulated by a hundred diaphragms singing in unison in a great cathedral. Small and large details stand out in bolder relief, tightly focused, wonderfully holographic. Bass is tighter and more dynamic. It sounds as though the power has been increased, with a more effortless quality."
The faceplate and handles look like they came out of the factory, and only has inconsequential touch up on top and side (photos). Tubes are in great shape, and will last you years (Actual performance level of each tube is conveyed in photo). Rated 8/10. In my humble opinion, the VT-100MKIII represent outstanding value-as I consider the VT-100MKIII is 95% of the Ref 110 and 90% of a Ref 150, but under 50% of their cost. Would love any questions from committed buyers.
