B&W (Bowers & Wilkins) 803s Floorstanding Speakers - Rosenut + Sound Anchor Stands

Pair B&W 803S speakers in rosenut finish, including all original accessories (boxes, manuals, spikes, etc.) plus Sound Anchor Stands. S version not Nautilus.  Prefer local pickup in Pewaukee, WI (Milwaukee Area) but may be willing to ship. at buyers expense.  Original boxes and packing materials in excellent condition as are all accessories. Willing  to separate Sound Anchor stand and speakers, just send me a message. 

I am the original owner. I purchased these speakers new from Audio Emporium in Milwaukee, WI for $5500 plus tax. I paid an additional $300 for the sound anchor stands used. The speakers are in excellent condition with the exception of 3 small dings on the top. I have tried to show these in the photos. They are not noticeable from 3 feet away and otherwise the speakers are beautiful. Grills are excellent. They were typically used on weekends for 3 to 4 hours in my dedicated music room. Powered by Audio Research equipment and never driven hard. Smoke Free, Kid Free home. The factory boxed are in excellent condition.

I love these speakers but I just purchased Vandersteen Quatro Wood CT for way more money, I hope that I like as much!

The 803S is the largest model to feature our aluminium dome tweeter, which has been enhanced with a new design of surround that operates better in unison with the dome. It has allowed the driver’s low-end response to be extended in order to use the simple single component crossover design. Tube loaded for extra clarity, and mounted separately on top of the main cabinet for optimum dispersion of sound, the tweeter blends seamlessly with the FST™ midrange driver to create a solid, three-dimensional sound stage.

Bass is supplied by two 7” diameter Rohacell® cone drivers, supplemented by a front-firing Flowport™, its now familiar dimples ensuring smoother airflow through the port to give greater dynamics, unsullied by distracting turbulence noise.
