Okay, here’s the story with these speakers.  I bought these “used” from one of the most respected
High End dealers on the East Coast, Overture Audio in Wilmington, DE, through
an Audiogon ad a little over 3 years ago. Here’s the link to the original listing.

https://www.audiogon.com/listings/full-range-wilson-audio-watt-puppy-8-dual-floorstanding-speakers-in-mint-condition-2014-10-24-speakers-19803-talleyville-de

As you can see from the ad, they mention that the Watt/Puppy
8’s were owned by an industry executive and gently used with only 100 hours of
use.  I ended up buying the speakers and
as it turned out, they were practically brand new.  In fact, the paint protecting film that
Wilson applies to their speakers had never been removed!

It turns out that the mystery previous owner was Spectral
Audio as their address in Sunnyvale, CA was clearly visible on the original shipping
crates.  It is rumored that Spectral’s
Keith O. Johnson used Wilson speakers to voice their reference amps and this
may be the proof.

So, even though the speakers were ~5 years old when I bought
them, they were for all intents and purposes brand new.

I have been using them for the past 3+ years and driving
them with Pass XA 100.5 monoblocks with outstanding results.  Their relatively high sensitivity makes them
easy to drive and compatible with most amps.
They truly are great speakers with very little difference to the Sasha
models that replaced them but at a fraction of the list price.  Here’s a link to the original Stereophile
Review for reference:

The speakers are in great shape except for one small ¼” nick
in the paint on one side of one speaker that was there when I removed the
protective frisk.  I glued it back in
place as shown in the picture and it’s barely noticeable from more than a foot
away.

I prefer local sale and pick up in the
Philadelphia area as these speakers when crated are very heavy (Total shipping
weight 566 lbs).  I have the four
original Wilson wood crates as pictured so these can be shipped safely.  Shipping paid by buyer and only to the 48
CONUS states.  PayPal welcome but buyer
pays the 3% added fee (speakers sent only to PayPal verified address, no exceptions).
Personal checks are fine with shipping after check clears.
