This sale is for a pristine pair of Akbuarik Aktiv speakers in walnut (glossy finish). These speakers are the non-Exakt version, see http://docs.linn.co.uk/wiki/index.php/Akubarik_Aktiv (upgrading them to Exakt is available through Linn). This item retails for 15600 GBP in the UK.
The speakers are superb and come with built in amplifiers (5 in each speaker), so you only need to provide an analogue source before amplification. I do have a Linn Akurate DS/1 which I'm currently using with it (I'm willing to sell as a pack).
I would be happy to arrange a listening test. This item can be collected from London or shipped.

| Could I use these speakers hooked up to an lp12 with a Klimax kontrol pre and Urika phono stage? So, with these speakers I wouldn’t need my current amps because the amps are built into them? What type of amp, akutate, Klimax..? Thank you Yes, indeed, you wouldn't need the amps. You'd connect your Klimax Kontrol to the speaker using the Balanced XLR outputs (see [filtered] Linn builds the Akubarik's with Chakra amplifiers (Dynamik), which should be similar to Akurate level amps. |
