Bryston BDA-3 HIGH END DAC WITH DSD HANDLING, VERSATILE INPUTS [Expired]

no longer for sale

This Bryston BDA-3 DAC is one of the more highly regarded in the industry, having received numerous rave reviews including the coveted Stereophile Class A+ rating.  It is considered one of the best DACs available with a very analog, musical sound.  It also has unusual versatility through its inclusion of not only the usual inputs (dual USB, Optical, AES/EBU and Coaxial with both RCA and BNC connectors) but also 4 HDMI inputs and a HDMI pass-through.  This allows decoding of DSD not only from computer files but also from SACD players.  Indeed it supports PCM sample rates from 44.1kHz through 384kHz (double what many DACs support) as well as DSD 1X through 4X.  The resolution of the file being played is indicated via LEDs on the front panel.  You also have the choice to apply upsampling or not depending on your preference.

The Bryston BDA-3 also has both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA outputs to allow easy connection to any preamplifier or integrated amp.  This particular unit has the less common black faceplate and looks quite striking.  It is a trade-in from a customer and is under three years old.  The BDA-3 is in really exceptional shape; I looked it over and found no surface marks.   The only way you would get one cleaner is to buy new.  Operationally it is perfect handling a wide variety of digital files and inputs with aplomb. It will be shipped in the original box and packing and includes the manual and power cable.  Please contact us with any questions.  Thanks.

We are Overture Audio, a high quality retail audio and home theater store established in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1989.  We sometimes offer used components and equipment we have taken in on trade for sale on Audiogon or eBay.  In addition to our perfect feedback ratings, you have the reassurance that we are a real brick and mortar store, and you can get in touch with us Tuesday through Saturday during normal store hours at (734) 662-1812.

The equipment listed is also for sale in our retail store – items may be sold in-store, so the listing may be cancelled at any time.

Unless otherwise noted, we ship our equipment to the lower 48 only, via UPS ground service.  If you’d like to use a faster form of UPS, just let us know – it’s your equipment and money!  Everything we offer for sale through Audiogon and eBay is guaranteed to arrive in proper working condition, but none of the equipment includes any kind of warranty, and all sales are final.  If you have any questions about a component, or what is included with it, please ask.  If the ad doesn’t mention a remote or manual being included, it probably isn’t!  Most of the equipment we sell on Audiogon and eBay is used – we take a lot of effort to give you accurate descriptions and provide good photos.  Although most of our trades have been well cared for, they probably didn’t spend their lives in a vacuum.  If you are likely to get bent out of shape by a smudge here or a nick there, please call or email us so we can give you detailed information before you buy.

We accept credit card payments over the phone, or you are welcome to send a money order or cashiers check to us at:

You will be subject to 6% Michigan sales tax if you pick up your item here at our store, or if we ship it to a Michigan address.

If any of the above information seems unclear or unreasonable, please contact us for clarification before you bid or buy.
