ALLNIC AUDIO CABLES, FEATURING ZL (ZERO LOSS)
TECHNOLOGY

Allnic Audio,
manufacturers of superb, world-class audio equipment, is pleased to announce the
release of its in-house designed and manufactured line of audio cables.

“Oh no”, you might
say, “yet another cable manufacturer with claims of jaw-dropping performance
based on all kinds of super-science and exotic materials.”

Not. This is not
the claim for Allnic’s cables. The claim here is simply that Allnic’s cables pass
signal between components, and power from the grid, with as little loss –
meaning distortion -as possible, accomplished through the application of unambiguous,
proven engineering and manufacturing techniques.

The result is that
Allnic’s cables are simply “right”. They sound right, are built right, and
priced right, a truly outstanding model of cost to performance value.

Kang Su Park,
principal of Allnic Audio, knows wire. Over 35 years of design and manufacture
of superb audio equipment, he has designed and hand-built the transformers for
his equipment, designed and hand-wired the amazing Allnic phono cartridges, and
carefully considered every strand of wire in every piece of equipment he has
built.

With early sales
and positive reviews in relation to use with every source and amplification stage,
whether tube, solid state or hybrid, Allnic’s cables reportedly encourage
comparison with products at any price. An example: Allnic’s cables received a
coveted Six Moons Blue Moon award for “Exceptionally low-loss cables”. Srajan
Ebaen said, in part:

“Adding up more depth, more recorded
ambiance, more bass, more textural diversity, more transient fidelity in the
time domain and finally improved power conversion... I wasn't at a loss but
serious gains from lots of (lower) losses. Prior flavour shifts with cable
assignments had mostly played along the axes of hard/soft, bright/dull and
shiny/matte to register as primarily sideways moves. But Allnic's ZL loom had
unceremoniously leapfrogged into a higher octave of resolution and recreation
of space. After sixteen years on the job, I'd been had in a bigger way than I
thought I still had room for.

Allnic's ZL Cable
loom arrives without unobtainium conductors, carbon fibre or liquid slurries.
It sports no magnets, no dielectric battery charges, no external drain wires.
It proposes no unwieldy terminator boxes, no bulky resonance suppressors at the
half-way points, no novel geometries, no exotic insulation materials. Six nines
aren't even in its vocabulary. Nor are amorphous, nano, cryo, gold or
palladium. Instead Kang Su Park focused his attention on hot-welded not
soldered, screwed or crimped connections; on premium connectors with
high-pressure contacts; and mu-metal magnetic shielding for the line-level
signal. Very well made, physically unobtrusive, of modest diameters, nothing
here plays to audiophile excess. Except for its fastidious finish quality, I
perceived no snobbish airs of exclusivity worship. And then I rather thought
that such finishing was simply commensurate with price to acknowledge a customer's
investment. In short, it all spoke to solid engineering, in-house
resourcefulness and respect for the client.”

So, what is Allnic’s
ZL (Zero-loss) Technology anyway?

  1. No barriers on conductor

    Traditional soldered or
clamped connections between terminal and conductor have two resistant barriers,
inefficient mechanical connection and/or solder with its much greater resistance
than copper or silver, on at least two points on every cable. Allnic’s direct
hot melt welding (1000 degrees C) removes these obstacles by melting
terminations and conductor into one material. Allnic’s cables are a single
piece of wire, end to end.

  2. Permanent contact pressure via heat-treated
    beryllium-copper terminations

    Higher
contact pressure and a larger contact surface mean less contact resistance and
better electrical transfer. Traditional bronze, pure copper and
phosphorous-copper terminations cannot provide sufficiently secure and
    long-lasting contact pressure. Allnic’s in-house designed, precision-milled,
slit, heat-treated beryllium-copper terminations provide maximum contact
surface and powerful contact pressure for minimal signal loss - for life.

  3. Mu-metal shielding

    Allnic
uses the well-understood nickel alloy known as mu-metal as braided shield for
its interconnect cables - a world-premiere in the audio industry. Because
magnetically generated interference freely penetrates both copper and silver, traditional
mesh shields of those materials provide effective protection against
electrically generated noise only. Mu-metal protects the audio signal from both
electronically and magnetically induced noise. Test data show that mu-metal
shielding reduces electromagnetic noise to less than 1/30th of what braided
copper shield allows, down -30dB in comparison.

  4. Patented high-pressure, double-blade spade connectors

Allnic’s unique,
double-blade spade terminations minimize contact resistance and will not
loosen, even when subjected to severe speaker vibration: there will be no need
to re-tighten binding posts for years.

  1. Mid-Range Control Technology – MRCT®

Allnic’s
MRCT involves using well-understood metal platings for slight midrange
“braking”, heavier wire gauges for encouraging low frequencies, and control of
capacitance for ensuring stunningly accurate high frequency reproduction.
