Caprice Audio's "Mosaic Effect"

I'd like to think we are at the forefront of a new dawn in Audio and our company Caprice Audio has quickly become an innovative leader in noise control and system integration. At the core is our unique Wave Stream Hybrid technology™filter. Although the filter is the main story our system approach to balancing the sound is uniquely interesting. 



  
In its simplest form, the Wave Stream Hybrid filter is designed to have a fast and adaptive response with extremely low resonance. This proprietary filter is surrounded by an aluminum shell built to isolate the signal carrier from RFI/EMI contamination. Although designed as a passive system, the Mosaic packs a dynamic punch that surprises.  
      
  
The high-efficiency factor is the performance value we are offering. A lower noise floor, an optimal impedance connection system, customer orientated tuning, all lead to an improved transfer of energy from the source to your ears. This is not an overstatement. If we can provide a clean voltage for each component, then you should expect an increase in dynamics and natural detail for the entire system. A single cable connection can adversely interact with a given circuit compromising its performance. The Mosaic factor reduces this possibility.


 

The devil is in the detail.    


The device receiving the signal is prone to many circuit related noises, artifacts that often lead to losses or masking of fine detail. Our advanced Wave Stream technology is passively filtering across the full noise spectrum releasing a beautiful wave of sound.

In some cases, balanced systems are not immune entities. All circuits respond to our Mosaic technology. Keep in mind all circuits are in an 'active' state no matter what output is being used.


The reward.

The overall benefit, as digital white noise is stripped away, its replaced with rich acoustical information. The music is filled with nuances and the empty black background has ambient cues that fill the void and expand the soundstage in all directions. I should also mention the relaxed nature of the music improves quite significantly.



The Mosaic system is one of the few add-on components that can significantly reshape the digital response to the next level. How is this possible? Every music system has a  unique sonic signature. How the music flows from source to transducer is determined by impedance, the noise propagated throughout a system and other factors. We describe the improved performance of a system as the "Mosaic Effect". Passive does not mean lifeless. In our design, the aim is to present a neutral plane for the correct interaction to take place among complex circuits that require accurate timing. 


In our test lab,  we found no compatibility issues with grounding devices or esoteric power delivery systems. As a matter of fact, bandwidth related transmission noise entering and reflecting its energy on the signal path ends very quickly at a single anchoring point.

Looking back over that last sentence it occurs to me that a more apt descriptor would be to call the Mosaic a “passive noise floor reducer.” I would add the Mosaic Effect presents to the listener an entirely new sense of musical truth.
