Retired senior audiophile offering his beloved cherry SHL5's for sale to a buyer who wants to enjoy class A, highly reviewed, sound for a bargain price. I am the original owner of these issue free units rated an 8 for recognition of their age only.  This listing includes a pair of custom SKYLAN stands with spikes to provide a very stable platform at the recommended height.
I have another listing on Audiogon for a matched pair of Martin Logan Depth subwoofers. these terrific sounding powered subs, when paired with the SHL5's, provide the perfect and powerful blend of performance for both music and home theater enjoyment.  I will negotiate a very reasonable price for the Speaker/Sub package.
I strongly prefer LOCAL PICKUP or potential delivery to a buyer within 150 miles of Louisville,KY at a small charge for expenses only.  I will consider  shipping to the lower 48 but the buyer paid cost is estimated at $500.00 including insurance.  I also prefer a Certified Check, or wire transfer as the method of payment,  but will consider PAYPAL with buyer paid fee of 3%.
