The MAXX 3 is now made entirely of Wilson's famed X-material, making the cabinet nonresonant (as well as expensive).  The upper cabinet design drew directly from Wilsons $160,000. Alexandria X-2.  It incorporates Aspherical Group Delay technology for improved propagation delay, massive soundstage and nearly perfect time-alignment.
The crossover was also highly refined to work even better with the updated drivers.  Numerous factors were considered and many hours of critical listening went into its refinements.
