Up for sale is my McIntosh MX-136 home theater preamplifier!
Only reason im selling is, i'm upgrading to the MX-160.
I purchased this unit new from an authorize dealer 7 years ago. I sent it in for service a year ago, and they replaced the HDMI board and ensured it is in perfect working order.
For analog 2-channel audio, as well as home theater, this guy is a beast, truly fantastic processing.
This unit is the big brother to the MX-120 (Upgraded audio processing over the MX-120)
I dont have the original box, but i ordered a box from McIntosh, so it will ship in its factory box.
There is a small scratch on the side from going inside my rack, there are also a few paint chips flaked off above the HDMI board where the installation company had labeled the inputs.
Something to note, this unit only accepts HDMI video, it wont accept audio via the HDMI ports. But it does accept all lossless audio formats via the 7.1 analog inputs. (Thats how i had my oppo hooked up)
My price is fair.
Paypal and shipping to lower 48 states included in price.
Low ball offers will be returned with nasty comments and positive offers will happily be accepted :)
Bid with confidence i have perfect feedback.
Thank you for looking!
