pARTicular Ypsilon chopped from 48 to 42" no shelves 4 H-frames [Expired]

no longer for sale

This is a pARTicular Ypsilon stereo rack that I bought new in 2005.  The serial number is 045.  I ended up going to a precision metal shop and had the height cut from 48" to 42".  The reason for this was because I wanted to put my flatscreen above it and the angle was suboptimal without the cut.
The unit is filled with lead shot.  Some details: the rods are 26" and there is 14" below the bottom H-frame.  I had a CAT JL-2 underneath it.  You can get longer rods and purchase additional H-frame's from Volkmar as Particular is still in business.  Or you can put your power conditioner underneath.
For shelves, I modified Grand Prix Audio Formula shelves by notching the rear center for the rear pole.  It made more sense to part out the Formula shelves.  You can have shelves made or call Volkmar.
The way this will work: we agree on a purchase price.  I will borrow a cart from the shipping guys in my building and walk the unit over to Best Box on Dean Martin Drive a half mile away and you can work with them on shipping.  I will disassemble the stand if you want.  However if I do that, you lose the lead shot and you will need to get new feet.  They are 1" x 2" plastic end caps available on Amazon for cheap.  I had them epoxy'd in so they won't be re-usable.  If it were me I would not disassemble it and I'd ship it paletted but I'll support whatever the buyer wants.
The pictures show the current state with no shelves.  I also included pictures of what it looked like in it's full glory when I had the Grand Prix Audio shelves but they are not part of this sale.
