This is the Original Music Vault Enclosure and Power Supply. I have replaced the rest of it with the insides of the new Music Vault Pearl Ultra so it has superlative performance and sounds great at a very good price.  This is a bargain hunters Music Vault!
The Pearl Ultra Has an i3 and 16 GB of Ram.   The Pearl Ultra is a Memory Player, all Music is played from ram. Total system storage is on a 1 TB SSD
The Pearl Ultra comes with a Blue Ray Player for faster, better more accurate Rips. It comes with JRiver for Playback, Roon is available for an additional $500. The Pearl ultra comes with DB Power Amp for the most accurate CD rips. Every Music Vault including the Pearl Ultra comes with Logmein so I can log in remotely and help you if you have problems.  
The only mechanical device in the Pearl Ultra is its Blue Ray Player, no other moving parts except a quiet fan in the power supply. 
Finally, the Pearl Ultra includes the fabulous Pink Faun USB or SPDIF/EBU output card. 
 You can add additional storage with a USB 3.0 external hard drive. 
Built in wifi using the latest wifi AC standards. 
This is a great music server at any price. The Pearl Ultra plays all music file formats including DSD in its native format if your DAC supports that.
